The aim of the «I International Workshop on ICTs, Arts and Cultural Heritage: Applications, Local Development and Informal Learning» was twofold: to set a forum of discussion of issues concerning technology and the arts as well as to integrate a wide variety of disciplines and scientific fields ranging from sociology, pedagogy to virtual reality into the current debate of sociocultural transformation in Europe.
